CURTIS OGRODIUK

Agency Principal, Graphic Designer and Art Director, Curtis Ogrodiuk, grew up in Bonnyville, Alberta where his love for sport and art began. Hockey, baseball, badminton, track, volleyball and basketball were a few sports Curtis loved to play. When he wasn't sweating it out on the outdoor rinks or on the makeshift baseball diamonds you could find him drawing his favorite sports team logos or Disney characters. After getting his Education Degree from the University of Alberta and a year of teaching English in Taiwan,  Curtis was accepted into the Graphic Design program at Macewan University where he also captained the Griffins Men's Hockey Team. He was named the University's Male Athlete of the Year in his final year,  graduated top of his class and was awarded the Edmonton Oilers Scholarship for his GPA and leadership qualities.  Curtis would spend a year teaching in Cambridge, England before returning to Edmonton to continue his teaching career and successfully launch the Artslinger design studio.

SLAVO KISS

Lead Graphic Designer, Slavo Kiss, specializes in brand identity development, illustration and graphic design. He has always been passionate about art and sports. He developed a keen eye for detail and a flair for precision at a very young age. Characteristics that would also prove very useful on the ice or on the pitch. Slavo played many sports growing up, including football, soccer, and lacrosse. He would eventually captain his Junior Hockey team before hanging them up and concentrating on his other talent, art.

Slavo began his artistic career at a very young age. He stayed very busy by designing logos and uniforms for fictitious teams and leagues he dreamed of playing for. Slavo would eventually graduate from Web Design School in Dublin, Ireland. He would start off as a freelance graphic artist where he would quickly make a name for himself internationally and eventually catch the attention of the New York based branding agency, SME. He would hone his skills and versatile design style further with SME while working on projects like the brand development for the Tampa Bay Lightning, the Kentucky Derby and the University of North Dakota Fighting Hawks.
